Stick Demonstration The stick competition can be performed as a solo demonstration or with two people showcasing techniques against each other. In the WAHA Hapkido system, the human body is divided into three regions for applications. Three regions: MORI (Head), HORI (Waist), DARI (Legs). Each region has three types of attacks and three types of defenses. Attacks: MORI: From above downward to the head; from the right side to the opponent’s left face; from the left side to the opponent’s right face. HORI: From the right side to the opponent’s left waist; from the left side to the opponent’s right waist; direct thrust to the front abdomen. DARI: From below upward between the opponent’s legs; from the right side to the opponent’s left leg; from the left side to the opponent’s right leg. ➡️ Blocks are performed from the same side as the attack direction.
