In WAHA Hapkido dojangs, both basic techniques and hyongs are taught.
Nunchaku can be learned by both men and women. Beginner nunchakus are soft. As belts progress, plastic, wooden, and metal nunchakus may be used.
Competitors in this field may perform the commonly known Nunchaku hyong or showcase their own techniques in free demonstration.
The competition format is the same as in the Fan category.
